Visitors are always assured of a warm, friendly welcome at Barnsgate Manor. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food, wine and the excellence of our service.

We are especially well known as a unique venue for Wedding Receptions and Civil Ceremonies, Celebration Parties, and for those special occasions, including Valentine's Day, Easter Sunday, Mothering Sunday, Christmas and New Year's Eve.

We are also open 7 days a week, from 10am to 5pm (or dusk, if earlier) for tea, coffee, snacks and our very popular Cream Teas in the Manor House Tea Rooms, which provides a traditional, homely atmosphere. Alternatively, you could enjoy them on the terrace, which has spectacular views over the open countryside and forest to the South Downs in the distance. And Lunches are served between 12noon and 2pm in the Manor House Restaurant or on the terrace.

Our extensive and varied facilities are also available for Conferences, Meetings and other Corporate Events. They are frequently used by clubs, societies and other local organisations, often combining their meetings with lunch.
Barnsgate Manor is child-friendly, and our donkeys and llamas in the surrounding fields are a big attraction.

A very popular venue for walkers, with delightful walks from here leading into the Ashdown Forest.

Our Gift Shop stocks a wide variety of interesting gifts and unusual foods, including wines produced from our own vineyard and others produced locally.

There is ample free car parking with easy access to our facilities for disabled guests.
